The gym app for the showing-up problem
Updated August 2026
Programs don't fail on bad exercises — they fail in week three, quietly, when nobody notices you stopped. Fouz makes the streak visible, pays XP for every session, and puts your meals next to your training so the whole habit lives in one place.
Twenty seconds between the last set and the shower
Pick gym, enter duration and calories, add a mirror photo if that's your thing, and save. Every session pays 20 XP, moves your goals, and keeps the streak alive. Notes hold whatever detail you want — today's lifts, tomorrow's plan.
Volume goals that fit training blocks
- Volume: 900 gym minutes this month — every session adds up.
- Frequency: lift 4 times a week.
- Streak: something logged every day — gym, cardio or a meal all count.
Meals in the same log
Calories, protein, carbs and fat — or just a photo of the plate. Meals pay 10 XP, count toward meal goals, and keep rest days from breaking the streak. Training and eating finally share one scoreboard.
Fouz is not a set-by-set strength log — apps like Hevy and Strong own per-lift analytics. Fouz owns the layer above: whether you keep showing up, across the gym and every other sport you play.
Gym questions
Can I track sets, reps and weights?
Not as structured per-exercise data — the notes field holds those details. Fouz measures consistency: sessions, minutes, streaks and goals, across all 55 sports.
Do rest days break my streak?
Only if nothing is logged at all. A walk, a stretch session, or a logged meal keeps the day alive — the streak rewards the habit, not daily maxing.
Can my friends see my sessions?
That's your call per post: public, followers-only, or just you. Private sessions still earn XP and hold your streak.
Does Fouz work alongside a strength-logging app?
Yes — many lifters log sets in a strength app and keep Fouz as the streak, XP and social layer where gym days and sport days count together.
