Agreement
These Terms govern your use of Fouz, the gamified fitness-social app and its companion website, operated by Yassine Ennaim, an individual developer based at 12 Rue Ziabak, Lot Lourini, Qu Firdaoos Sidi Abdkrim, Safi 46000, Morocco ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
The service
Fouz lets you log workouts and goals, earn XP, levels, streaks and badges based on your logged activity, and connect with friends for social motivation. Gamification rewards are computed automatically from the activity you report; you are responsible for the accuracy of what you log.
Accounts
You need an account to use most features. You sign in with your Google or Apple account; keeping that account secure is your responsibility, as is all activity under your Fouz account. Provide accurate account information (email, display name).
Purchases
Fouz offers optional paid upgrades: Fouz Pro, an auto-renewable subscription billed monthly or yearly, and the Founder's Pass, a one-time purchase that includes Fouz Pro for life. The exact price is shown by the App Store at the moment of purchase. Payment and refunds are handled entirely by the Apple App Store — we never see your payment details, and refunds follow the store's own refund policy. If you reinstall the app or switch devices, use "Restore purchases" in Settings to recover your purchases.
Subscriptions and free trial
The yearly Fouz Pro plan starts with a 7-day free trial; the trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same billing period, at the price shown at purchase, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your App Store account settings; deleting the app does not cancel it. The Founder's Pass is a single payment and never renews.
Acceptable use
Do not use Fouz to harass others, post illegal content, attempt to manipulate XP or leaderboards through automation or fraud, or interfere with the service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or our Child Safety Standards.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on Fouz. Objectionable content includes anything harassing, threatening, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit, violent, discriminatory, or otherwise offensive, and any content that is illegal or infringes someone else's rights. Posting it, or behaving abusively toward another user, is a breach of these Terms.
Moderation, reporting and blocking
Posts, comments, photos and profile text are screened automatically before they become publicly visible, and content that cannot be screened is not shown publicly. You can report any post from its “...” menu, and block any user from their profile “...” menu; blocked accounts are managed under Settings. Every report reaches us immediately and is reviewed within 24 hours. Content found to be objectionable is removed and the account responsible is suspended or terminated, without refund. If you believe something you posted was removed in error, write to yassine@ennaim.dev.
Health disclaimer
Fouz is a motivation and tracking tool, not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before starting any fitness program, especially if you have a health condition.
Your content
You retain ownership of the workouts, goals and social content you post. By posting, you grant us a license to store and display that content within the app as needed to operate the service.
Termination
You may stop using Fouz and delete your account at any time; see the Account & Data Deletion page. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by Moroccan law, Yassine Ennaim is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Fouz after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
